Rebuilding Together Greater Burlington Inc

Rebuilding Together Greater Burlington is an all volunteer non-profit organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need by making free critical home repairs.  Our mission is to work in partnership with the community to rehabilitate the homes of Chittenden County Vermonters of limited means so they can live in warmth, safety and independence.  

Rebuilding Together Greater Burlington operates much like an old fashioned barn raising with volunteers providing a day's labor in exchange for a feeling of satisfaction and appreciation for the work they completed for the homeowner.  Working with volunteers from all walks of life, homes are selected based on certain criteria including income level, inability to do the work themselves, living in the home for the previous 5 years and no plans for resale.

Project repairs include installation of energy efficient doors and windows, insulation, accessibility features including ramps, handrails, stair repairs, roof replacements, light plumbing and electrical work, smoke detectors, landscaping, painting etc.
