Rebuilding Together Long Island, Inc.

We need your help!  Living on Long Island is not inexpensive and many of us need a helping hand.  For more than twenty-six years, Rebuilding Together Long Island has been assisting economically-disadvantaged homeowners with FREE home repairs and also modifications for those with a disability.  Our volunteers take care of plumbing and electrical issues, flooring, weatherization, heating, carpentry and more.  Our focus is on safety and providing those in need with the opportunity to remain in their homes safely and independently.  We have constructed hundreds of wheelchair ramps and installed many smoke detectors and grab bars.  Each client's needs are assessed individually to determine their priorities.  We rely on donations so that we can continue our work of helping our neighbors.  Many times, we are their last hope for help and the demand for our service is increasing.  Please consider making a donation and if you are interested in volunteering with a wonderful group of people, give us a call.
