Rebuilding Together Sandoval County

Program Description: We are a local all volunteer- based program devoted to the repair and rehabilitation of homes. The program helps low-income homeowners fix-up their homes at no charge. The main focus is to correct problems that effect health or safety.

We operate as a year-round program and also participate in the national Rebuilding Day event in April. The program uses community volunteers where possible and skilled, licensed contractors from various trades such as plumbing, electrical, heating, etc. to complete the work. We are fortunate that many contractors donate all or part of their service and materials.

Rebuilding Together Sandoval County was incorporated in New Mexico in April, 1999 and is a federal 501 (c)(3) non-profit. We are an affiliate of the national organization Rebuilding Together USA.

We welcome volunteers , cash, and in-kind contributions and corporate sponsors. We have a great need for additional funding in the areas outside Rio Rancho. These areas currently include Algodones, Placitas, Bernalillo, Corrales, and west of Rio Rancho. We would like to expand to additional areas of our county to the north sometime in the future.
