Visit Recycle Utah on any given day, and you’ll feel the community in motion: cars roll in full of cardboard and glass, kids sort plastic bags and bottles, and volunteers sort batteries and help visitors unload their cars. Neighbors ask questions, swap tips, and leave inspired to do more for their homes, families, and community.

This is more than a recycling center. It’s a place where people learn, connect, and act. Where sustainability becomes something you can see and feel.

Since 1990, Recycle Utah has grown from a few bins in a parking lot to a thriving community hub. Today, we:

• Teach 7,000+ students about sustainability every year

• Recycle over 45 types of materials, from sneakers to skis to food waste

• Host community cleanups and adult workshops 

• Safely collect hazardous waste to protect our watershed

• Run bilingual outreach programs to reach everyone in our community

Every program exists to give Park City the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to protect the place we all love.
