The Red Apple School is an Adult Day Training Program.  We serve 165 Adults with varying Developmental Disabilities in the Pinellas and Pasco Counties.

Our mission is to educate developmentally disabled people, 18 years and older, through the absorption of knowledge and experience, nurturing individual potential in any subject matter that enriches the lifestyle goals with survival, social or independent living skills.  The following are examples of the types of services we offer: Cooking class, Instruction on Self Care, Money Concepts, Individual Goal Work, Household Upkeep/Laundry Skills, Art Mediums and Craft Projects, Health and Safety Education, Computer Training, Communication and Sign Language Skills, Employment Skills, Exercise, Sensory Experiences, Various Clubs, Guest Speakers, Outings, Special Events and much more.

Our goal for Give Day is to raise $20,000.00 of which half will go towards a scholarship fund for Individuals who are not receiving state funding and can not afford to pay for Adult Day Training Services.   The other half will be split between two categories:

1.  To meet the adaptive equipment needs and educational activities/manipulatives needed for our students in their classrooms.

2.  To improve on our need for updated electronic equipment throughout our organization such as, GPS's for the vans, computers and electronic equipment for both students and staff and additional Radio's for each Instructor to to have to communicate quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

With over 20 years of experience providing services to this population, The Red Apple School takes pride in what we have to offer Adults with Disabilities.  We would like to express our sincere gratitude for considering Red Apple as your non-profit of choice for your donation.
