Reflections of Trinity, Inc.

Reflections of Trinity Inc. humbly began as an annual used clothing sale earmarked as revenue for Christian education at Trinity Chapel Church of God in the fall of 2000. Our first and subsequent sales events were successful, so the decision was made to make it a full time venture as a community thrift store and on September 27, 2003 we opened our doors to the public at our location in downtown Powder Springs. Our thrift store sells a variety of goods including quality used and new clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, and furniture.

In addition to being a retail establishment, Reflections of Trinity supports and has become a benevolent resource center for Trinity Chapel, surrounding churches and many charitable organizations. Excellent customer service coupled with our reputation of integrity and a place of hope has established our organization as a pillar in the Powder Springs community. Reflections of Trinity Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded and led by Laurie Wong.

In December 2005, Reflections of Trinity launched its eBay store to market merchandise to a national and international audience. Much like our physical location, our online store offers a variety of products and carries a greater volume of antiques and specialty items. Reflections of Trinity’s eBay store was designed to sell unique and higher priced items and has grown into an anchor store on the eBay platform with over 2,000 items in inventory.  As of May 2017, Reflections of Trinity has sold over $1,000,000 in cumulative sales that has directly benefitted those in need.

In July 2016, eBay recognized Reflections of Trinity as the Grand Prize winner of the inaugural eBay Shine Awards for Small Business.  

Team 58 Food Pantry, a division of Reflections of Trinity, began in January of 2012. Our mission was to offer a free box of groceries to those in need in our community and we started with 33 families that were identified as needing support.  Today, that weekly distribution has grown to over 465 boxes per week. In the 4 years of the food pantry’s existence, we have served over 16,000 individuals, distributed 18,603 boxes of food in 2016 – a total of 991,883 lbs. of food distributed for that year.

Within 14 years, Reflections of Trinity has evolved to include 4 separate divisions:  a warehouse division, retail store, eBay store and a thriving outreach division, Team 58. These divisions are supported by 19 staff members (10 volunteer and 9 paid) and operates in over 15,600 sq. ft. of space.
