Refuge House - Endowment Fund

The mission of Refuge House is to provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, their children and families, and to eliminate such violence through community education and public advocacy. Refuge House serves all people affected by domestic violence and sexual assault across eight counties from highly diverse backgrounds and circumstances, from every economic background, culture, religion, and nationality. Refuge House offers support and resources to people who have been hurt by abuse or violence. We offer guidance and encouragement for families and friends worried about a daughter, sister, child, or parent. Refuge House is the only agency in the Big Bend region certified to provide these services. Our programs are founded on the principles of empowerment and survivor self-determination, and are provided with highest regard for the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the survivor.
