Regal Swan Foundation Inc

In 1999, researchers began researching captive swans and documenting their need for clean safe habitats and humane veterinary care.  The Regal Swan Foundation, Inc. was formed and the mission for swan humane veterinary care and treatment has been carried out through research, education, veterinary care, consultation and swan product development.

The research team has authored two books for swan habitat and swan owners, pioneered the use of two vaccines to mitigate swan deaths due to Botulism and West Nile Virus, established standards for swan blood chemistries, blood pressures, body temperatures and hormones.

This research continues today and the need for sponsors and donors is what helps keep the Foundation running.
