For more than fifty years, the Reno Cancer Foundation has efficiently made an impact in the lives of thousands of local cancer patients. People undergoing treatment for cancer are often out of work due to their illness and quickly become overwhelmed not just by the cost of treatment and medicine, but by everyday expenses like rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation. Our lean staff (one person) directs funds directly to patients who fit the profile of being in dire need. 100% of donations go directly to patients and their families to meet their immediate financial needs. Assistance is temporary, and the average patient/beneficiary receives money for a couple months until they are back on their feet. Your donation goes directly to where it is needed most.
