RTRS rescues many dogs that are in need of medical attention. Their needs range from spay/neutering, dentals to surgery. These animals are made whole again with the help of small grants and the generosity of your donations.
Your donation will help us save more dogs like Able, get them out of the shelters and into your heart.
Able was a 10 year old Labrador that was in our local animal shelter. Reno Tahoe Rescue Society rushed to pull him out of the shelter the moment they saw him. They could see in his eyes he was a special guy.
On his first visit to the adoption center Able met Mark my husband and at once there was a bond that could not be broken.

This is "Ables' Fund" in remembrance of one of the best fur friends we ever had.

Able was at Marks side always, at work and at home. He was the most loyal and loving dog you could ever wish for.
Sadly our time with Able was short, we learned he had bone cancer and when the pain got to be too much for him we had to say goodbye. Able died with his head in his masters arms with dignity.
We were blessed to have him in our lives even for a short time.
