R.E.S.T.

In 2017, our first program was Feed Thy Neighbor. This program fed the homeless that lived in the St. Louis Downtown Area with hot food, warm snacks and fruit and cold drinks. During this time we took groups of kids Christmas Caroling to children and nursing homes where they sang, told stories of Christmas then gave out socks.

A few years later, we were able to assist approximately 45 middle schoolers and high schoolers annually to Scholastic Competitions and College Tours. The kids competed in Robotics, Oratorical and Dance and participated in Financial Literacy, Political Review and Golfing classes for ages 12 and under. Along with the competitions we completed 3 History Knowledge tours to Baltimore MD, Washington DC and Memphis TN. We've given out 50 Save-A-Lot food gift cards, Clothing, Furniture and assisted in funeral services for 3 families. We wanted to just fill the gap for struggling families.

For 6 years we have taken children Christmas Caroling to children and seniors homes. The children were able to sing and talk about Christmas and before leaving give out socks to the seniors and small Christmas tokens to the children. For 8 years the Back To School supply give-a-way were held throughout the St. Louis City and County Area. In 2018 we changed our name to truly fit our goal and mission. In 2019, our reorganization plans were in motion then COVID-19 hit. We were still able to pitch a tent and give food out to the seniors that lived in the area, it was either delivered or they were welcomed to visit the tent. Throughout the 2020 summer months we served an average of 25 families weekly.
