Rewild Refuge Farm Sanctuary (RRFS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and providing a forever home for abused, abandoned and special needs animals. Through our Equine and Animal-Assisted Learning programs, we foster powerful connections between humans and animals that support healing, growth, and transformation.

OUR STORY: 

Founded in 2022, Rewild Refuge Farm Sanctuary was built from the ground up on a simple belief: every animal deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to heal. In just a few years, we've grown into a lifelong home for animals who were abandoned, neglected, or headed for slaughter, giving them not just survival, but a life where they can simply be themselves.

Rescuing an animal isn't a one-time act. It's a daily commitment, a lifelong commitment,  and we are able to make this a reality with your help! 

For this year's Kitsap Great Give, we're raising $7,000 to go towards essential costs in coming months: veterinary care, feed, and shelter for the animals who call Rewild home, and to open our gates to those still waiting for a second chance.

Every donation, at any level, keeps this mission alive. Thank you for believing in a more compassionate world — for animals and people alike!

Rewild Refuge is an entirely volunteer-run organization. Every dollar donated goes directly to the animals — no salaries, no paid staff. Just love, hard work, dedication, and so much heart!

OUR RESIDENTS: 

At Rewild Refuge, every animal that comes through our gates carries a story, and together, we get to help write a better ending. Our sanctuary is more than a place to live; it's a lifetime commitment to every soul in our care, and a commitment to giving them the best life possible. When you support Rewild, you're not just helping animals heal — you're helping build a community where people reconnect with compassion, with nature, and with each other. Every gift matters. Caring for our residents is a year-round commitment — and the costs are real. In 2026, we're projecting over $75,000 in annual expenses, driven largely by rising veterinary costs that have climbed steadily over the past three years. Feed, medical care, and daily essentials add up fast when you're committed to giving every animal the best life possible.

Current Needs:
-Grain for our senior horses
-Hay for all residents
-Fencing & a new shelter for our flock of sheep
-Bedding & Straw
-Veterinary & Medication costs
-Hoof Trimming for the horses & donkeys every 4 weeks
