Rex Allen Arizona Cowboy Museum

A nonprofit organization

At the Rex Allen Arizona Cowboy Museum and Cowboy Hall of Fame in Willcox,Arizona we strive to preserve the True American/Arizona Cowboy as well as Western Music. Rex Allen Sr. was a real rodeo cowboy growing up near Willcox, Arizona and went on to being one of the Last of the Silver Screen Cowboys with folks like Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. He starred in Frontier Doctor as Dr. Bill Baxter. Rex was " the Voice of Disney", narrating films as well as TV commercials. He sang "Arizona Waltz".

Inside the Museum, established in 1989, we honor our famous hometown hero, you will find memorabilia from his lifetime of success in Rodeo, Radio, Movies and Television. Across Railroad Avenue is a larger than life bronze statue of Rex. His famous horse, Koko is buried at the foot of the statue.
Rex Allen Days are held every year, still promoting "The Arizona Cowboy" and Western Way of life. The Cowboy Hall of Fame inducts 2 new cowboy/cowgirls each year at their annual banquet.
Rex Allen, Jr. returns each year during Rex Allen Days, singing for the crowds and upholding his Dad's memory. Rex Jr. has his own room of memorabilia in the Museum. Showing us his wonderful career as actor, singer, songwriter and entertainer. He is the writer and performer of "Arizona", our State Song.
