Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society

The Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society was formed in 2004 on a very small budget in order to bring excellent, world-class chamber music groups to Ridgecrest, the surrounding community of the Indian Wells Valley, and beyond. The society offered five concerts in the 2012-2013 season, six concerts in each of the following two seasons, and  seven concerts in the current season. We have seven concerts planned for 2016-2017 season. The audience size ranges from 60 to 90 people. 

In 2012, the society began providing in-school programs at local schools in order to reach the next- generation young musicians.  In 2015-2016, school outreach programs continued for the fourth season with six ensembles presenting to 1500 students in grades K-12, at 15 schools. The number of students in concerts is increasing due to a combination of much reduced ticket cost and outreach to schools.
