Help us continue to recover, rebuild, and recreate. 

Our 2024 Spring season has come to a close. We serviced many students this time around, and that's all thanks to you. Two pop up shops and many personal fittings, we'd say is a pretty successful year, as long as we were able to connect with the community.  

Your contributions help us to outfit the most deserving students and bring our programs to the community. We strive for excellence and our strength is because of supporters like you. 

We are continuing to participate in the IVY Vine Incubator and have been able to apply the things learned to build a new Board of Directors, strengthen strategic plans, and execute more effective and impactful programming. Your contribution is greatly appreciated as we grow. 

Mission

The Right Fit, Inc supports students in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and surrounding areas experiencing financial hardship with access to formal and business attire at little to no cost so they can attend prom, special occasions, and be prepared for the workforce. Through such access, we encourage them to attend events, which play an important role in their primary education and life experiences that empowers their future.

Vision

To ensure every student has access to attire that makes them feel good and look good for every life occasion.

Objectives

• To provide access to prom and other formal attire to youth and families in need, resulting in a reduction of social isolation;
• To provide business attire for interviews & job readiness; 
• To provide life skills that increase post-secondary college and career readiness;
• To promote the importance of positive self-image, resulting in increased confidence among youth;
• To provide a platform for community giving and youth engagement.
