Ripple Effect Project

Ripple Effect Project is dedicated to supporting agricultural and educational endeavors of independent schools and orphanages in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Currently, we are working with the Korando Center in Kisumu, Kenya to address the needs of the many local children left without parents by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Our goal is to create grass roots to grass roots connections removing the bureaucracy from the act of giving. We provide an opportunity to make direct change. At Ripple Effect Project we have no paid staff and almost no overhead, allowing donations to have maximum impact. 

Thanks to many generous donations, we have been able to:

• drill a deep water well
• bring electricity to the compound
• dig and stock 2 fish ponds for food and income
• send over 300 children to primary school and over 50 to high school
• purchased farm land for food and income
• raise funds for a beehive, cows, and a generator 

At this time, we are raising funds for solar panels and a solar powered irrigation pump for farming. The pump will provide a reliable source of water for irrigating crops resulting in a higher yeild for food and income.
