River Valley Counseling Center Inc

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. provides community-based behavioral health and healthcare services to individuals and families. Our culturally competent, skilled and compassionate staff are dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in our community through services delivered with respect and dignity.

Besides providing outpatient clinical and psychiatric services at offices in Holyoke and Chicopee, RVCC provides school-based therapuetic services throughout the Holyoke Public Schools.  We also have three School-based Teen Clinics-health care centers-which are located at Holyoke High School, Dean Technical High School and Peck School. The first Teen Clinic opened at Holyoke High School in the fall of 1985. We also provide School-based therapuetic services at schools in Chicopee, Granby and Springfield.

The mission of RVCC's HIV/AIDS Project is to support those affected by HIV/AIDS and to promote community awareness of issues surrounding HIV/AIDS. 

Our other programs include:

Psychiatric Day Treatment, CONCERN:an Employee Assistance Program, the Personal Responsibilty Education Program (PREP) and the Holyoke Safe and Successful Youth Initiative.
