Riverside Community Arts Association

Established in 1989, the Riverside Community Arts Association (RCAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts in the Inland Empire, and in Riverside’s eight international sister cities. Over the last five years we have organized nine different projects with our sister cities. An important component has been working with youth from our community, as well as the international community on art exhibits. The youth from our community learn about their sister cities and different cultures. We are planning three projects during the next year with Erlangen, Germany, Ensenada, Mexico and Jiangmen, China. The youth component of these projects has had a big impact on their visions. Some have been able to visit the exhibits in the different countries.

Our goals are to engage regional artists to improve their craft, network with one another, exhibit their work on a regular basis for public exposure and sales, and to use their skills and knowledge to help further expand community projects developed by the organization.
