Riverside Rotary Foundation

A nonprofit organization

11 donors

The Riverside Rotary Club and related Riverside Rotary Foundation began in 1920, as part of Rotary International.  Giving donations to The Riverside Rotary Foundation, which is a 501.c (3) non-profit organization, is a tax deductible donation.

This local group participates with Rotary International in such huge projects as eradicating polio from the globe.  However, the bulk of activities involve improving the people and community of Riverside.  Such activities are many and varied, but some examples include:

  • Scholarships for local high school children going on to college
  • Support of scholarship programs for returning wounded veterans
  • Sponsorhip of local high school Interact Clubs and their activities, including visiting seniors in senior housing facilities
  • Local "Students of the Month" to support and endorse scholastic achievement
  • Painting homes of low-income seniors
  • Support of programs for the homeless
  • Support of local bike trails and bike safety

The list goes on and on and we are always open to suggestions and new members.  Please check out our web page at www.riversiderotary.org or consider joining us for lunch on Wednesdays at The Mission Inn.
