Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of Southern Arizona Inc

 The Ronald McDonald House provides a “Home Away from Home” for families who must travel to Tucson for medical care. Our 24,000 square foot house has all the comforts of home with 28 bedrooms and private bathrooms, 4 kitchens, a reading room, great room, playroom and outdoor play area. The House serves over 450 families per year from communities throughout Southern Arizona, as well as the surrounding region. Our families are from all walks of life, seeking treatment for illnesses such as cancer, birth defects, pre-maturity, organ transplants and life-threatening trauma.

     Although the McDonald’s Owner/Operators are a loyal and generous group, no one company can solely fund the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona. The majority of our annual operating income is secured through the generosity of individuals, organizations, foundations, civic and service organizations, and many other corporate donors. We depend on the entire Southern Arizona community and greatly value the wide range of support for our very important mission.

     Families are asked to pay a nominal, $15 fee per night, but no family is ever turned away due to inability to pay.  Your donation helps us to cover our cost of $90 per family, per night.  In 2013, the average family stayed at the House for 12 nights.  Thank you for allowing us to help keep families together in their time of greatest need.
