The mission of Robert Morris University is to change our students' lives so that they can change the lives of others.

Founded in 1921, Robert Morris University (RMU) is a private, coeducational university located in Moon Township, PA. The University has evolved from a reputable school of accountancy, to a nationally recognized business college, to the comprehensive, residential university it is today, with a 24-hour living and learning environment that emphasizes engaged learning experiences to launch students into meaningful careers. RMU offers 60 undergraduate degrees and 20 master's and doctoral degree programs, overseen by the University's five academic schools: Business; Communications & Information Systems; Education & Social Sciences; Engineering, Mathematics & Science; and Nursing & Health Sciences. RMU's strength has been the alignment of these academic programs with the external environment through engaged learning, including internships, study abroad, student-faculty research projects, extracurricular activities, community service and other experiential learning methods.

The RMU Student Fund supports a variety of RMU programs and initiatives including technology, financial aid, study abroad, and much more, enabling the University to respond quickly and efficiently to meet important needs. Tuition, endowments and other forms of income do not cover all the costs of operating RMU and providing a quality education with engaged learning experiences to RMU students. The support of alumni, parents and friends through the RMU Student Fund is vital to ensuring that the University can fulfill its mission of changing students' lives so that they can change the lives of others. The Fund helps to offset RMU's regular, ongoing expenses and supports the University's most immediate needs.
