Robert R Frank Student Run Free Clinic

The Robert R. Frank Student-Run Free Clinic opened its doors in the fall of 2010 offering an array of free, high quality primary and preventative care to the medically uninsured population in Detroit.

First, patients receive a complete clinical exam. This is followed by any necessary laboratory testing, which occurs on site and free of charge. Then, patients are provided health education and awareness, as well as specialty care referrals. The in-house pharmacy provides free over the counter medications. Prescription medications are also paid for by the clinic if the patient is unable to pay. The clinic also helps patients to apply for patient assistance programs when appropriate.
