About Us

The Rock Hall Yacht Club Sailing School is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay just outside the lovely town of Rock Hall. The Sailing School is committed to teaching both adults and children to sail and to improve their sailing and racing skills in a safe and fun environment.

RHYCSS is a non-profit 501c3 educational organization devoted to sailing education and experience. We offer sailing scholarships and sailing programs in cooperation with other organizations. Contact us today to discover sailing!
We offer a variety of Sailing Programs, from Pee-Wee, Beginning to Advanced to Racing Team. In the past 2 years we've partnered with area camps to allow over 90 children to have the oppotunity to get the sailing experience. We hope to continue to grow these partnerships around the Chesapeae Bay region. Our courses / sailing experiences are taught by US Sailing-certified instructors on Lawyer's Cove in Langford Bay, a calm sailing venue off the Chester River of the Chesapeake Bay.
