Rock River Coalition Inc

Since 1994, the Rock River Coalition has been working with people, like you, to make our area a cleaner and better place to live, work and play.

We do that: with citizen stream monitors - more than 100 will head out this spring to check monthly the temperature, oxygen, flow and clarity. Many also sample for phosphoorus, the cause of dangerous algae and plant growth in our waters. Our goal is to have more than 50 critical sites monitored. Your donation will help put another team on the land.

Testing the Waters A Paddle and Probe Adventure kicks off May 15 for ten days of paddling, monitoring and education. Our group will paddle from Mayville to Beloit, collecting iimportant data along the entire Rock River.  This is the first time EVER for this type of continuous monitoring. Your donation will help us spread the word for the need for clean-water!
