he RockTeen Youth Foundation empowers Black and brown youth through mentorship and the art of step - moving youth successfully through high school - this movement has helped 12,000 youth graduate high school, including:

• Anti-incarceration programs

• Mentorship

• Building Step Teams

• Stem Programming

• Girls mental health

• College scholarships

• Overall Reinvestment into the community

  Our most well known program is the annual step competition taking place at University of Texas at Arlington - Stomp Wars NATIONAL YOUTH STEP CHAMPIONSHIPS. Stomp Wars is an inspirational celebration recognizing our amazing youth steppers! It is an invite only youth step competition featuring 20 teams from around the country. 

We also distribute our scholarships, community awards and prizes at Stomp Wars and showcase programs and partnerships. 

ALL of our youth steppers are graduating, while many of their peers are not. STEP team engagement is not only a rigorous sport, but it is a community of belonging - enhancing self esteem, social and emotional development, building character, keeping youth out of the streets and making them healthy, committed and accountable young people that understand teamwork.
