Roots Ethiopia is a non profit organization devoted to providing opportunites in Ethiopia’s southern region – the Kembata Tembaro, Hadiya, Halaba, and Wolayta zones. 

The mission of Roots Ethiopia is to support community identified solutions for job creation and education. Your donations support sending children to school, improving local rural schools, and helping mothers create sustainable businesses in the local market. 

Roots Ethiopia gives form to our desire to connect with Ethiopia in culturally-appropriate, forward-thinking ways. Roots Ethiopia believes our long-term vision must be on proactive, sustainable projects, and must be based on local wisdom and experience.
