Rose Community Foundation works to enhance the quality of life of the Greater Denver community through its leadership, resources, traditions and values.

In 2007, the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC) was launched, with the vision and support of Rose Community Foundation as an innovative approach to increase philanthropy in the Latino community and to increase the capacity of Latino nonprofit organizations. In the first years of operations, 17 Latino donors, known as the LCFC Founders, individually pledged $25,000 over three years, which was matched $1 for $1 by Hispanics in Philanthropy, a national partner with a shared mission.  Since then, others have joined in LCFC’s work of directing resources to address immediate needs of the community, while also laying the groundwork to create systemic change within the philanthropic arena. Since its inception, LCFC has provided 60 grants totaling over $875,000 to Latino-led and Latino-serving nonprofit organizations throughout Colorado.
