RotaCare has helped make free health care and medications accessible to thousands of Long Islanders in need for 26 years. RotaCare's all-volunteer medical professional team has served Long Island’s most vulnerable families with dignity to make them stronger and healthier by ensuring they have access to quality primary health care. RotaCare supports a medical office staffed by 100+ volunteers who offer 14,000 service hours to provide nearly 2,000 patient visits and provide $4 million worth of free services annually.

Our patients struggle to pay for life’s basic necessities, so paying for a doctor visit or for medications would be impossible for them. With free primary care, our patients can better manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, and avoid costlier care and the inevitable emergency room visit if these conditions were left untreated. 

Through generous support and partnerships, RotaCare has created a space where people in need can access healthcare in a dignified and respectful setting. This makes a big difference, not only for RotaCare patients, but for the overall health of our communities.
