The Rotary Club of Fort Collins - After Work (or "RAW") has been called 'small but mighty'. We think of ourselves as the 'little club that can.' In our current projects we can:

  • Help a Fort Collins charity Sproutin' Up "build skills, hope, optimism and self-efficacy in youth."
  • Support vocational education in Timnath High School's construction program where they can learn a valuable trade or a useful hobby.
  • Teach leadership in the annual Rotary Youth Leadership camps for middle- and high-school kids.
  • Promote literacy in Fort Collins through an innovative program using Kindle readers.
  • Rebuild village schools in Nepal that were severely damaged by earthquakes in 2015 and by flooding and landslides in 2024.
  • Enable River Reforestation of the Parabas du Sol River in Brazil to protect essential habitat and water resources.
  • Test the eyesight of over 4,500 Nepalese villagers and students, and provide more than 250 pairs of prescription glasses to students.
  • Pay for a Community College education for Larimer County single parents.
  • Support surgery to correct congenital heart defects in poor children in Pune, India
  • Reconstruct and repair sources of clean water for villages in India
  • Give deaf women in Nepal a skill so that they can support themselves.

These are some of our current projects in Fort Collins, Larimer County, and around the world where we are giving a hand up to the less fortunate (with an emphasis on youth). Join us today in making all these current projects a success.
