Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay Foundation

A nonprofit organization

$100 raised by 1 donor

The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay has a long history of service to the community of Kauai, as well as many projects around the world. Yes, we live in one of the most stunning locations on the planet. However, that means living expenses are extremely high and many individuals who live and work here and many organizations and businesses struggle to survive. Our efforts bypass all considerations of gender, ethnicity, politics and other discriminatory judgments, and are aimed to where the help is needed most. All donations go 100% to our projects, and our members receive no salaries or compensation.

Our Youth Services committee provides dictionaries for 3rd Graders, Rotary Youth Leadership Camps for Sophomores and Juniors in High School, and College Scholarships for Seniors.

Our Vocational Service committee is sponsoring the 2024 Catch-A-Wave contest which is a Kauai Style Shark Tank. Any donations for this project go directly to the business owners who finish in the top 3. We last did this project in 2019 and had 60 participants. If you know any local entrepreneurs who wish to enter Catch-A-Wave, they can fill out an entry application at CatchAWaveKauai.com. You can watch the video from our last Catch A Wave to learn more about the project.
