Run Fido Run

Five years ago we came up with the idea of sponsoring a dog jog to raise money for animals in need. The second Saturday of every September we meet at Eagle Island State Park and run/walk with our pups. This year the run is September 13 at 10am. There are prizes for the winners and a raffle with outstanding donations from many local businesses.

We are the only organization in the Treasure Valley that supports animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, bears - we do not discriminate. In the past 4 years we have been able to donate $20,000 to many different animal welfare organizations. Most of them are smaller groups who work on tight budgets and rely on volunteers to do the day-to-day work. The monies we donate go directly to animal care.

Run Fido Run operates strictly with volunteers. We have no paid staff, simply a love of animals.
