Run for Roselle

Would you like to support children and families here in Roselle? Would you like to help elementary school children improve their reading skills over the summer months, provide backpacks and school supplies for when they go back to school and provide Thanksgiving turkeys and food to Borough citizens in need. If so, your can support the Run for Roselle 5K Run/Walk by participating and or donating. Together, we can make our First Annual Run for Roselle 5K a spectacular event, touching the lives of countless children and adults in our community.

On Saturday, May 10th, 2014, hundreds of runners and walkers will participate in the Run for Roselle 5K in lovely Oak Ridge Park, Clark, NJ. This USA Track & Field certified 3.1 mile course will be filled with serious runners, joggers, power walkers and strolling families. The Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 am and post-race events will start immediately after.

All of the funds generated by this event will go directly to supporting community outreach programs such as iRead, which is a summer reading program for elementary school children. Last year over 80 Roselle students attended the program. The funds raised will also support the Back to School Backpack/School Supply Giveaway which provided over 300 backpacks last year to students and also the Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway which provided turkeys and food supplies for over 150 families in need here in Roselle.

Your donations are vital to the children and adults here in Roselle who look to us for hope and help. There is no doubt that your participation will help ensure the success of this event, our only fundraiser of the year.
