SAFE-T's mission is to create an environment where violence and abuse are not tolerated in the communities we serve. Abuse diminishes the full expression of life, which is every person's right.

SAFE-T is a 501(c)(3) Organization, which provides sensitive and confidential assistance, shelter, outreach and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Many survivors of these traumatic experiences live in constant terror. However, SAFE-T offers assistance to those in need and helps survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault empowering them to live a life free of abuse.

The common thread for our clients is abuse: physical, psychological, emotional, and/or sexual.  This abuse affects not only the individual, but the entire family which seeps out in to our schools, workplaces, and communities.  Often this type of behavior leads to a perpetuating cycle of abuse for future generations.  Here at SAFE-T we strive to strengthen the family unit while helping those who need more immediate assistance with Information and Referrals (24 hr. Crisis Hotline), provision of Shelter, Counseling, Housing Assistance, and Legal Assistance.

SAFE-T offers these services as well as provides educational outreach and domestic violence/sexual assault prevention seminars to local community groups, schools, and individuals across eight counties in the Northeast Texas area.
