Special Education Leader Fellowship

Our mission at SELF is to empower schools to create welcoming and effective communities that enable ALL students to achieve their fullest potential. We aim to improve the quality of special education student outcomes by developing current and aspiring special education teacher-fellows, leader-fellows, and leadership teams through a variety of specialized programs.

At SELF, we work with educators across the country to help improve their inclusive education practices and foster learning
places where every student is recognized, valued, and equipped with skills to thrive.

We believe inclusive schools are possible when educators are empowered with the skills to meet the needs of ALL learners. We offer professional development programs and design customized learning experiences for those at every level, including paraeducators, teachers, special education coordinators, principals, and district superintendents. We also provide customized support services to improve comprehensive school reviews, mission-focused compliance, and curriculum design for students with disabilities, students receiving interventions, and multi-lingual learners.
