Saint John Baptist Church is committed to the Great Commission as stated by Jesus in Matthew 28:19, 20 'Go Ye Therefore And Teach All Nations, Baptizing Them In The Name Of The Father, And The Son, And The Holy Ghost: Teaching Them To Observe All Things Whatsoever I Have Commanded You: And Lo I AM With You Always, Even To The End Of The World. Amen."

The "Great Commission" that has been given to the church is to proclaim the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ throughout the world. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). The church is called to be faithful in sharing the Gospel through word and through deed.; be an anchor and a light of hope in the world and in the local community; to promote the Gospel and to prepare its members to proclaim the Gospel in words and through works.
