St. Joseph's Community Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The mission of the Foundation is to perpetuate the mission of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and their 92-year tradition of improving the availability and effectiveness of medical care in the Red River Valley with a special emphasis on persons who are underserved or in financial need.

$2.5 Million & Still Giving
On behalf of St. Joseph's Community Foundation, THANK YOU to our medical community for making a difference.

The more funds St. Joseph's Community Foundation receives annually, the more the Foundation puts back into our community in the form of Educational Grants and Community Grants. All funds remain in the Red River Valley. Our specific focus on medical care helps us to stand out amongst other organizations, as we assist those who are most underserved and in financial need.

Your donation will help provide an array of medical needs in Paris and the surrounding areas. Most recently, Foundation gifts have provided medical care to low-income families, support for nursing education, and essential medicines for elderly and single parent households, continuing the cherished legacy of The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.

Special thanks for helping us carry out our mission of improving the availability and effectiveness of medical care in the Red River Valley, with a special emphasis on persons who are medically underserved or in financial need.

Just A Few of St. Joseph's Community Foundation's Annual Events:
• Each year the Foundation hosts an Annual Fundraiser called the Texas Underwriters Ball. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024
• The giving of Educational and Community Grants is our primary purpose, and many in the community are annually blessed by the Foundation's generous gifts.
• During Nursing Pinnings, in collaboration with Paris Junior College, the Foundation passes out white roses to congratulate those entering the medical field on their success.
• The Foundation oversees the graves of the Sisters who served in Paris. Each year, on All Souls' Day, wreaths are placed at the gravesites and their graves are blessed. Tradition and appreciation of those around us continues to make this Foundation stand out.

If you or an organization you are associated with need medical assistance that corresponds to the Foundation's Mission, please visit our website sjcfparis.org for Community and Educational Grant Applications.

Again, THANK YOU for considering a gift to St. Joseph's Community Foundation.
