CASA of St. Louis supports children in foster care in St. Louis. We recruit, train, and empower Court Appointed Special Advocates -CASA volunteers - who advocate in the courts and community for the best interest of children in the foster care system.

Each CASA volunteer is assigned to a case (child or sibling group) referred to our agency; every case involves children in the foster care system who have been removed from their home due to abuse and neglect. Our advocacy helps children heal from trauma, progress in school, participate in childhood activities, and achieve permanency. The children we serve can count on their CASA volunteer as the one consistent, caring, reliable adult attending to all details of their life, even as their placement, case workers, schools, teachers, and care providers change.

We help children achieve the best possible outcome and permanent placement in a safe, loving home. Through our dedicated advocacy we reunite families and reduce the number of children in foster care.
