Sacred Heart Church

Six years ago now, we began a Capital Campaign to make some major and urgent repairs to our parish buildings.  Since then we have replaced the roof on the Church and Parish Center, re-leaded the stained glass windows, paint the interior of the church, replaced the boilers in both buildings and repaired the parking lots.  Now one of our next projects is to replace the A-frame in which sits the bronze bell that rings out here for various services.  This bell was orginally at St. Therese Church in Agawam and was brought over to our church when it was closed.  We are very proud that this bell now rings out here.  In addition, we need to replace the bell system hardward that is now 35 years old and had reached its end. Bells have always been an integral part of Christian worship and we are committed to making sure this legacy continues well into the future.
