Saddles of Joy Inc

Saddles of Joy Inc. is a therapeutic horseback riding facility. It helps the special needs children and also some adults with their special needs.  Horses are very good in helping them gain their confidence and balance. 

We service the special needs children at the counties schools during the mornings and have private lessons for the children whose schools do not transport them to our facility. 

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00pm and 3:00pm – 6:00 pm.  Saturday Play Days are from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm (until 1:00pm during hot months). Saturday Play Day is free and open to the public, although donations are always welcome.

We have a petting farm, a library, an aviary, and a playground for everyone to enjoy and we also have many families who use our facility for birthday parties! 

We also take part in outside events such as parades, visiting other organizations during functions and events--taking horses for people to ride and farm animals to pet!

The Colorado River Riders have been with us for several years; they have named us as their charitable donation organization. They have been at most of the events we go to as well as performing on most Saturday Play Days!

We're always in need of volunteers, which is very rewarding in many ways.
