Sadie Dog Fund

A nonprofit organization

$2,000 raised by 17 donors

Coming home to a dog enthusiastically greeting you is what makes a house a home for most dog-lovers. As dog lovers we would go to the end of the earth to help our four-legged family members. Now, imagine your fur child needing lifesaving treatment. You can see in their eyes that they are hurting, and you desperately want to help them receive the care that will allow them to return to their happy selves, but you cannot afford it. Veterinary clinics, unlike human doctors, can and for financial reasons, have to refuse care to those that are unable to pay. That is where we come in. We provide veterinary grants to allow dogs to receive life-saving treatments thus keeping families whole.

In 2017, Sadie Dog Fund was able to help save 73 dogs lives and keep them at home with their families, because of caring donors like you.

Created in 2007, Sadie Dog Fund, helps local dogs in need by offering financial assistance to the pet's guardian for: surgeries, therapies or treatment that enhances quality of life for the animal through veterinarians' recommendation.

Sadie Dog Fund is a Lincoln/Lancaster County based 501c3 non-profit organization.  Our administrators are not paid. We operate with all volunteers.  Every penny donated goes to help dogs or to help promote the Sadie Dog Fund.

Here are some of the things we have helped with: intestinal and stomach blockage surgery, neck vertabrae surgery, disc surgery to avoid paralysis, emergency bladder or kidney stone removal, spleen removal, liver disease, cancer, mammary tumors, painful ear hematomas, parvo treatment, broken legs, emergency eye removal, cataract removal, diabetic supplies, auto injuries, torn ACL surgery and rehab, hip surgery and rehab, purchased wheelchairs to keep dogs mobile.
