Safehaven began in 2010 with a God Sized Dream of building a chapel in the middle of the homeless community in Sacramento, Ca. Many people joined in to help the dream come to fruition. The goal was to have the chapel available with heat and hot coffee by December of 2013. We have accomplished that goal, but not without costs. All resources collected up to this point have gone to complete the chapel in addition to additional funds borrowed.

This fundraiser will enable Safehaven Ministries to make good on its obligation to retire a $10,000 loan that was used to complete the chapel.

We are now holding services every Sunday from 9 - 11 am. There are also open chapel hours M - F. During the week we are a SafeHaven in the middle of the community for folks to sit, have quiet time, a cup of coffee, enjoy fellowship, a friendly face, friendship, honest people that care about them, and some protection from the outside elements.

Our purpose is not only to provide spiritual healing and restoration to the homeless we serve. We are also part of a community effort to create a downtown social service hub with other organizations equally as committed to local social and economic change.

Please help us to fulfill our obligations financially so we can continue to fulfill our call to serve the needy. Thank you
