Sahuarita Food Bank

People arrive at a point in their lives when they can’t make ends meet due to physical impairments, physical/mental illness, getting laid off, undergoing a divorce or adding someone to the family, etc. There really are more factors that lead to hunger, and they cause more damage in a person’s life when several of them are present at one time.

The Sahuarita Food Bank serves people who are nutritionally at-risk because we believe that supporting them is the right thing to do. We recognize how suddenly and unexpectedly a person can become food-insecure amidst today’s economy and job market, and we believe no one should go hungry.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and a community is only as healthy as its most vulnerable populations.
