Providing 24-7 language interpretation and help navigating the system using community-based leaders to assist Aghan, Iranian, Iraqi, and Somali refugees living in Salt Lake County who are unable to communicate in English obtain vital services such as medical services, housing, and empolyment among others through Salaam Refugee Services of Survival Project.

Training refugees who are unable to communicate in English and do not know their way around the system to acquire Functional English and Acculturation to the American way of life so that they become indpendent of our services and self-reliant to be able to accomplish vital tasks in their lives such as obtaining employment, medical services, and housing amoung others.

In twelve months of 2015 calendar year, four of our Social Service Facilitators assisted 153 refugees performing 488 assignment funded by grants totaling $12,000.
