The Salt Lake Children's Choir consists of boys and girls, between the ages of 8 and 15.  The choir emphasizes natural vocal production and works of the music masters as well as outstanding folk and contemporary music from around the world. The children have sung music from dozens of countries around the world. A prize winner in international competition, the choir has appeared with many internationally celebrated artists and organizations.

The choir's primary effort remains close to home through its emphasis on community enrichment and the education and development of young people.  In addition to presenting major Christmas and spring concerts, these efforts include reaching out to schools and care centers, as well as performing for major community events.

Choir Director, Ralph B. Woodward, founded the choir in 1979.  Woodward is an accomplished singer, horn player, composer, and an authority on the care and development of the young voice.

Your donation will help the choir share their fine musical heritage.
