Salt Lake Film Society is the center of Utah’s independent, foreign and documentary cinematic universe. We present an amazing 12,000+ opportunities each year for residents to enjoy extraordinary film presentations at both the historic Tower and downtown Broadway theaters.

SLFS programs have a profound impact on the quality of life for all Utah residents. A recent SLFS survey shows:

97% of respondents said SLFS programs “provide the opportunity to think and learn”

84% agreed SLFS “serves as an anchor in the community”

76% indicated SLFS programs were “extremely or very valuable” to their overall quality of life

SLFS programs and services matter to people from every walk of life, they contribute to the vibrancy of downtown Salt Lake City and they bring the magic of film to over 30,000 children, youth and families who enjoy free programming at our venues each year.

SLFS serves over 250,000 people and offers 23 educational, community outreach and free cultural programs each year.
