In an increasingly secular world, higher education in an  environment that encourages your Christian values is becoming increasingly important.

But not every student who desires a Samford education can afford it.

Each year, 96 percent of our incoming freshmen receive some sort of financial aid, including merit and need-based scholarships. Many students depend on scholarships to make a Samford education a reality.

Fortunately, we have generous members of our Samford family; alumni, parents, friends--and even students--who contribute the 30% of the Samford experience that tuition does not cover.

These gifts allow for scholarships, first-class faculty, award-winning athletics, an array of student organizations for a variety of interests, as well as growth within programs and around campus.
