San Benito Time Exchange

Donations to the San Benito Time Exchange are being matched dollar-for-dollar up to $1,500 by Bhandal Brothers Trucking, Inc. 

We started membership recruitment in May of 2013 and currently have 35 members who have exchanged 403 hours of service with one another and the wider communities in which we live.  Using time as a currency allows members to get their needs met without money and at the same time create new and lasting friendships. 

We building community one exchange at a time! 

Currently we have partnerships with the following organizations:

• The Women's Club of Hollister
• BenitoLink
• Aromas Grange
• Aromas Eagles 

As TimeBanks grow, they develop the capacity to work on larger community social projects such as literacy programs, libraries for the homeless,  sweat equity for home solor installations, and even micro-lending programs. 

Your donation will help us reach future members, teach them to be successful TimeBankers, and begin building the capacity to start working on our first community project.  This happens when we reach 200 members; the project selection will come from within our membership.
