Help us empower the community for a brighter future by supporting a united Inland Empire!

We are raising funds to sponsor 200 LGBT+ and ally youth, famlies, and friends to attend the 1st annual Ontario Reign "Hockey is for Everyone" Pride Night!

About us:

At San Bernardino LGBTQ Center we have a vision and a driving passion to build a community where every person has the opportunity to advance their well being and live happy, healthy lives.

We have dedicated ourselves to relentlessly serve the Inland Region by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is our mission  to provide a welcoming, safe space—an inclusive home that celebrates, nurtures, and empowers the LGBTQ communities, our friends, and neighbors in the Inland Region.

We are proud to be a part of our great region, the Inland Empire, and to stand in that pride, we have created a standard in the values that we hold and the ethos that we operate in. These values are the basis of who we are as an organization, who we are as leaders, and who we are as community members:

  • We believe that community centers are primary change agents in a movement working towards the empowerment of LGBTQ people.
  • We believe that promoting, celebrating and achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion strengthens the LGBTQ community.
  • We support and honor other communities whose civil rights struggles paved the way for our movement, and we value and work for full human rights and self-determination for all people.
  • We value a partnership culture that empowers the LGBTQ community through relationships, connections, and collaborations with other community organizations.
  • We are committed to a growth process that ensures sustainability through innovative actions, and an awareness of and accountability to best practices.
  • We take our fiduciary responsibility very seriously and are transparent in our communications, interactions, and intentions. We act in good faith and honor our commitments.

As an organization, it is important that we become a lighthouse for health and social equity.  We believe that despite a person's sexual orientation and/or gender identity, they should feel safe in their own communities; should be accepted for who they are; and should have equal access and opportunity for both personal and profession advancement. To meet the vision and mission of the organization, we at San Bernardino LGBTQ Center have set a number of goals to effectively serve the Inland Region. We have started by creating a peer support group in San Bernardino in partnership with SAC Health Systems who graciously hosts the meeting every Wednesday from 5pm - 7pm. But, that is just the beginning of what we have in mind to help support, develop, and empower the community. Our first major initiative is a major partnership to put on a Pride Night within San Bernardino County:

Our Fundraiser:

We have set a goal to fundraise at least $6000 to support our efforts in organizing with the Ontario Reign their 1st annual "Hockey is for Everyone" Pride Night. We need your support to make it a success and to give our great region its first major community sporting event Pride Night. The Ontario Reign is an affiliate of the LA Kings and are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, while being a business leader in the Inland Region supporting the LGBTQ community.

Your donation will play an essential part in helping us reach  our goal $6000 to successful sponsor the 200 local community members and organize the Pride March around the ring, as well as other celebratory activities at the Pride Night.

Support the community today, be a part of making a difference!

A message from the Founder and Executive Director:

Growing up and into my adult life, I lived through what as a Center we are advocating for and working to establish.

As someone who identifies as gay, I know what it's like not to be accepted, to be bullied, to feel alone and lose friends, to face disadvantages and discrimination, and fall into brokenness all because people judging me for my sexual orientation. It's a powerful thing when people find something about you that they don't like. It's a powerful thing when people act out there hate for you. But, it's an even more powerful thing when you feel loved and accepted. Too often people look and treat others with a lack of positive regard because of our slight differences rather than look and treat each other with love, admiring our vast amount of commonalities.

I founded San Bernardino LGBTQ Center to advocate for just that, the commonalities that we all share, to bridge the gaps of understanding, and to lead with love. But, I can't do it alone. I need your help, I need the community's support. So, I ask you join me, be a founder, be a leader, and lead with love. Help us at San Bernardion LGBTQ Center create an environment that is accepting to all and that celebrates the diversity in our great Inland Region!
