Mission: To unite the community to support literacy through advocacy, partnerships, resources, and collaboration

Vision: Literacy for All!

The San Diego Council on Literacy represents a network of 31 youth, adult, and family literacy programs that serve thousands of residents annually. It identifies and responds to local literacy priorities and service gaps, increases awareness, secures resources, and contributes in other ways to service outcomes that are impactful and lasting.

You can help: With your donation, the San Diego Council on Literacy can do more to enhance the availability and quality of literacy services for San Diego County residents—children and adults--who read at the lowest levels of literacy.
