Together, We Can Create a More Humane San Diego!

Each year, San Diego Humane Society cares for more than 40,000 pets and wildlife in need. 

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we are the go-to resource for animals and the people who love them in 13 cities across San Diego County. In addition to being an open-admission shelter, San Diego Humane Society is a national leader in animal welfare.

This year, we are joining San Diego Gives to spark a movement of giving throughout San Diego and demonstrate our commitment to serving our community. Our generous friends at The JEM Project have generously agreed to partner with us in this mission by pledging to match every dollar raised through San Diego Gives, up to $50,000!

• Provide safe shelter for homeless animals.
• Perform lifesaving veterinary care for pets and wildlife.
• Rescue animals during natural disasters and emergency situations.
• Offer free and low-cost services for pet-owners in need.
• Ensure San Diego County “Stays at Zero” euthanasia of healthy or treatable shelter animals.
